Growing up in North Alabama, Jason and Jessica learned early on the power of faith, family, and community. They are passionate about helping people experience the life-changing love of Jesus.

As Founding & Senior Pastor, Jason leads with a heart for people and a vision to see lives transformed through knowing, showing, serving, and sharing Jesus. He truly believes that with Jesus, anything is possible. For nearly two decades, he has shared this message with millions, from churches to leadership conferences to television shows, always carrying a deep burden for those who feel forgotten, unwelcome, or unsure of their place in God’s story. He is firmly committed to raising up leaders who will boldly impact the world for Christ.

Jessica is the heart of their home and an incredible partner in ministry. As a registered nurse, she has a deep compassion for people, whether she’s serving in healthcare, the church, or the community. Her greatest joy is creating spaces where people feel seen, valued, and loved. Together, she and Jason are committed to building a church that truly feels like home.

Pastors Jason and Jessica believe in family, raising their three amazing kids to love God, serve others, and live with bold faith. They love being part of the local community, whether it’s showing up for a ballgame, lending a helping hand, or simply sharing a meal with friends.

Through Refuge Church and The Possible Project, they remain deeply committed to the sharing the Gospel, strengthening churches, encouraging pastors and making a difference in Jesus’ name.
